Statement of Faith

  • We affirm that there is one God, infinitely perfect and eternally existent in the persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

  • We affirm the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious atoning death through his shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and his personal return in power and glory.

  • We affirm that salvation is by grace, through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity. We believe in the Holy Spirit’s interaction with man as a comforter and helper. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and is manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit.

  • We affirm that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are operative today.

  • We affirm the Bible to be the Holy Spirit inspired, authoritative Word of God and that it is eternally reliable.

  • We affirm the sanctity of human life and that life begins at the moment of conception.

  • We affirm that the “stripes” placed upon Jesus Christ before his crucifixion provide physical healing to all who will believe and receive.

Sacraments

  • Water Baptism: Following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the new convert is commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 36-38; 10:47-48).

  • The Lord's Supper: Communion in the presence of God when the elements of bread and grape juice (the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ) are taken in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross (Matthew 26:26-29; I Corinthians 10:16, 11:23-25).

  • Marriage: We believe marriage is defined in the Bible as a covenant, a sacred bond between one man and one woman, instituted by and publicly entered into before God (Matthew 19:4-6).
